X5 Retail says IFRS Apr–Jun net profit rises by 21% to 16 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Aug 13 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s X5 Retail Group, the owner of Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and Karusel chains, rose by 20.5% on the year to 16.275 billion rubles in April–June, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), in accordance with the IAS 17 standard, the company said on Thursday.
Revenue rose 12.9% to 493.631 billion rubles.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) grew 14.4% to 41.327 billion rubles. EBITDA adjusted for management bonus program expenses grew 14.4% to 41.854 billion rubles.
